Mr. Lewis is responsible for market and product research, pro forma analysis, property management, marketing oversight, and construction coordination of Parallel’s projects. Austin Lewis has extensive operational background and has worked in the student housing sector in the management and delivery of multiple urban and infill high-rise properties in major university markets.

Lewis, who previously worked with Parallel as a Development Associate, has rejoined the firm in an expanded role focused on continuing to build the best student housing developments in the industry.  He brings nearly 10 years of experience operating, designing, and developing best in class student housing properties. He has worked in multiple asset classes ranging from high rise multifamily and student to mixed-use developments nationally.

Mr. Lewis started his career in student housing as a Community Assistant and quickly advanced his career working as an Area General Manager of The Scion Group's University of Texas at Austin high-rise assets. Austin has held multiple leasing, marketing, and operations roles with Scion and other national student housing platforms.

Lewis is a member of ULI and a member of the Real Estate Council of Austin. He has studied at Texas A&M University and is a thought leader on the future of student housing and multi-family developments in major markets.
